The event will be happening on the 8th of May from 18.00pm to 20.00pm in the Shilling Auditorium.

We hope to see many of you there!

Hey everyone!

We were contacted recently by some brilliant students of RHUL involved with a charity called Solidaritee. Based at universities, Solidaritee raises awareness of the migrant crisis, which is unfortunately still underrepresented in the media.

They are selling gorgeous T-shirts for just £10 in order to fundraise! We as Diplomatic Society think this is a wonderful opportunity to raise awareness and money for a crucial cause. If any of you are interested in buying one, please contact Jason Ching, Tom Platts and Kharesma Ravichandran!

You can also read more about the charity here: https://www.solidaritee.org.uk.

Thanks a lot!

The Diplomatic Society and Human vs Zombies Society would like to present the first ever ZOMBIEMUN!!

Crisis committees differ vastly from General Assembly and other more traditional MUN simulations; they are less formal and far more dynamic. In this Crisis session, you and a partner will be representing a country during a World Meeting held in Geneva. If you wish to challenge yourself, you can state in the google form (linked below) to represent a governmental organization, such as the World Health Organisation. Due to the nature of Crisis, anything can happen during the session: whether it's press releases, assassinations, secret bilateral treaties, scandals, or elections, as delegates you must maintain composure and unite the delegation to a path of peace... or make World War Z a reality.

STORYLINE:
Linked below is a google document titled 'Emails from Dr. Helen Li'. These emails were addressed directly to the UN General Assembly from one of the doctors who watched the outbreak unfold before her:

TO PARTICIPATE:
1. You must fill out the Application Form linked here:

2. We are following the London International Model United Nations (LIMUN) Crisis guidelines:https://limun.org.uk/FCKfiles/File/Crisis_Guide.pdf
3. The DEADLINE for this is on the 28th of January, which is the coming Monday. PLEASE SUBMIT THE FORM BEFORE 5pm of the 28th.
