I get SO many new little students through our doors in September, so this probably isn’t the best post for business… but I care much more about your experience as a mama. ❤️
If your child is starting school, it may be worth giving them a little adjustment time before trying new clubs. They MAY take to everything like a duck to water, but they may also not and that’s ok. It also doesn’t mean they never will and it doesn’t necessarily mean it’s not the right club for them. Try again in January, try again a year later, you know your child best and your instincts about what club they may enjoy are probably spot on. Timing is 🔑
Equally, if your little one has loved coming to classes since they were 2 or 3, and suddenly starting school means they don’t want to go anymore, please don’t think you’ve done anything wrong.
They’re exhausted. They’re adjusting. Their little worlds have just changed completely.
They might need a few weeks off, or even a couple of months. And that’s OK.
Take the pressure of them and yourselves and take your time. There’s plenty of it when they’re so little.
They’ll come back when they’re ready, and we’ll be right here waiting for them. ❤️
