♥️🎉We’ve had lots of fun since our last post. Seeing the weather and seasons change ☀️🌨️❄️and doing lots of activities.

☀️🌤We have been enjoying all the beautiful weather lately. We’ve been visiting various parks and woods in the area. As well as checking in on our vegetables growing in the community kitchen garden 🥔🌽🍅🍓🫑

🐝🐞☀️ We have been enjoying the sunshine ☀️ the past couple of weeks. 🚌 Today we visited the library bus and took out some new books 📚 After we were busy in the garden making witches brew and potions 🧪🧙‍♀️🌸🌼 In the afternoon after we picked up the older ones and we had a delicious snack of hummus and vegetables 🥕🍅🥒🫑🍓🧀🍉

🎁🌟🎄☃️Merry Christmas ☃️🎄🌟🎁

We have been extremely busy over the past few months especially with the run up to Christmas. 🎄🦌🤶 🎅🏻

⭐️I’d like to wish all my families a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Stay safe and we’ll see you all again in 2022! 🌟

👩‍🌾👩‍👧‍👧The children were excited to find out that we would be helping Marie from What's for Tea Tonight? Farm Shop again this year. Marie showed us all the fruits and vegetables 🥬🫐🧅🥔🥕🥒she has grown in her poly tunnel aswell as her two new additions Johnny and Keiran the two Irish donkeys. We also checked in on Pinky and Dotty 🐖 🐖

We then went on to harvest our own fruits and veggies that we grew in the community kitchen garden with the help from Jim. The children decided to eat our crop for lunch 🥔 🍓 🥦

🌟🌟During the holidays the children decided they wanted to have a picnic 🥪🧃in the park and because the weather has been so beautiful we’ve had multiple picnics ☀️🧺
We have also been visiting our vegetables and watching them grow. We finally got to pick our home grown broccoli 🥦 and some strawberries 🍓 😋 They were delicious!

Do you have a current legal riding hat you no longer need that you could kindly sell to us to provide to people of all ages, abilities and walks of life as caring for our donkeys during our Farming in the field education visits please ?

🥦🥕🧄🧅🍓We were very kindly asked by the Edzell Woods Kitchen Garden volunteers (Fiona Lanyon) to plant and grow some peas and broad beans 🌱 whilst in the poly tunnel we had a look at all of the other vegetables grown by the other volunteers 🌽 🍅 🥦🥬🥒🥕🌶🧄🧅🥔
Before we left we noticed that our garlic 🧄 has began to sprout in our raised bed 🧄

⭐️During the Easter holidays as the weather was very windy one child suggested we make kites 🪁 once they finished decorating them off to the park we went and flew our kites🪁
We had an unexpected visit from the Easter bunny 🐰 who told us that they had organised an Easter scavenger hunt📋 The children were so excited to go out and find all the clues🔍
To finish off the holidays we made a start on planting some vegetables 🥕 🥔 🧄 in our community garden🌱🌳

🌼🐿🌷SPRING 🌷🐿🌼

It’s finally spring time!! We went on a spring scavenger hunt to look for signs of spring, counting them as we went along to make sure spring really is here 🌱🐿🐝 We’ve been watching snowdrops, crocuses and daffodils sprout and flower for the past couple of weeks and we’ve been looking out for calves being born🐮
