We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the Scottish Ambulance Service for visiting Ivy Meadows on 27th February. The children had an absolutely wonderful time learning from the ambulance crew and experiencing the sights and sounds of the ambulance. The excitement was palpable when the siren went off and the bright lights flashed. It really brought the visit to life for the children.
The children were thrilled to help Peppa Pig who had fallen ill and was on her way to the hospital. It was such a creative and engaging way for the children to learn about the vital work the ambulance crew do. Your kindness and patience in interacting with the children helped them feel comfortable and curious and we know they will carry these positive memories with them for a long time.
This visit has not only sparked their imaginations but also helped them to understand the importance of the ambulance service in a fun and accessible way. We are so grateful for the opportunity to build a connection with the Scottish Ambulance Service and help the children develop a healthy respect and understanding of the vital work they do in our community. Thank you again to Steve and his team for making today so special!
