Two very different colour palettes on display today. Vibrant, warm pinks and oranges or cool, calm blues and lilacs.

Both equally as beautiful.

We’re currently putting together a list of what flowers we have available at different times of the year so that you can order stems in advance.

Jet’s been busy sowing broccoli seeds and they’re now ready to be pricked out and potted in. This is how it’s done!

They should be ready very soon in the shop.

This week is the perfect time to be digging into our Special Summer Mulch. 🪏

It has lots of good food in it for the plants, helps to retain moisture in the soil, suppresses weeds, makes the garden look good and will gradually work its way down into the ground improving the soil as it goes.

What could be better for the summer months knowing that your plants are well looked after?

Keep up with the watering folks!

Anytime of day is fine but early morning or later in the evening is better. Contrary to common belief, watering in the middle of the day will NOT burn the leaves of your plants but the water will evaporate more meaning that the water doesn’t have a chance to get to the roots of the plants like it needs to.

It tends to be cooler in the morning and after the sun goes down so better chance of getting the water where it needs to go.

Try to aim the nozzle of your hose or watering can at the base of the plant rather than spritzing over the foliage.

Follow all of these tips for thirst quenched plants and efficient watering
