We would like to sincerely thank all the artists and educators involved in the project and most importantly to the children who always surprise us and bring joy to an often bleak landscape.

The real life story, is that children are growing up in refugee camps all over the world.
Resilience is not measurable but so necessary.
We are persevering with ‘Windows on the World’ because we believe in the transformative power of music and the arts - for solace, for joy and for freedom.
It is not an easy project to sustain. Forever grateful to the team- my guitar maestro Felipe, Nina, Mohamed, Ali, Pepi, Christina, Amalia
And as for the concert- well it was truly joyful, and expressive, chaotic and poignant.. and our little swallow flew above the children - because swallows know no borders.
Not forgetting that all this came from small workshops in Matina’s courtyard in Pikpa, Leros in 2017 - with Dimitris and Roo and Christina, … years ago now and then with the wonderful SolidarityNow Ritsona Team.
Thank you so much to everyone.
