🚒🔥 An Afternoon of Firefighter Fun! 🔥🚒

What an exciting afternoon at our local fire station! The children had a fantastic time meeting the firefighters and discovering what life is like at the station. 👩‍🚒👨‍🚒

Our adventure started with a bus journey to the fire station, which was a wonderful learning experience in itself! 🚌 The children enjoyed travelling together and looking out of the windows.

Once we arrived, there was so much to see and do! The children got to:

🚒 Explore the fire engine and see all the equipment
🪖 Try on a real firefighter’s helmet
🔥 Watch a firefighter slide down the pole
💪 See the gym where firefighters keep fit and ready for action
📞 Visit the control centre
🚨 Hear the sirens in action
💦 See how the firefighters use the hose

The children were also lucky enough to climb inside the fire engine and experience what it might be like to be a firefighter! 🥰

They learned an important safety message too: 999 is the emergency number to call if we ever need the fire and rescue service. 📞🚒

A huge thank you to the wonderful firefighters for welcoming us and making our afternoon so exciting, fun and educational! ❤️

🧘‍♀️✨ Yoga with our Pearls! ✨🧘‍♂️

Our lovely under 2s, the Pearls, had a wonderful yoga session with their teacher at nursery! 💕🌈

The children enjoyed trying lots of different stretches, moving their little bodies and exploring new yoga poses. 🧘‍♀️🌿 They had so much fun taking part!

It was a lovely way to support movement, balance, coordination and wellbeing while having lots of fun together. 🌟💛

🫧🍦 Sensory Fun with our Crystals! 🍓🐠

Our wonderful 2-year-olds, the Crystals, had a fantastic time exploring foam through a variety of fun sensory activities! ✨

The children got creative making their very own foam ice creams 🍦, searched for sea animals hiding in the foam 🐠🐙, and enjoyed discovering hidden fruits and vegetables 🍓🥕.

It was a wonderful sensory experience that encouraged the children to explore, discover and use their imaginations while having lots of fun! 💕🌈

We loved seeing all the excitement, curiosity and messy smiles! 😍

🌞🌑 Exploring the Solar Eclipse! 🌑🌞

On Wednesday, the children enjoyed learning all about the Solar Eclipse! 🌌✨ The children learnt about how an eclipse happens and discovered how the Moon can move in front of the Sun.

Then it was time to get creative! 🎨 The children made their very own solar eclipse by sticking a sun on the paper, pulling a rectangular paper and moving the Moon across to cover the Sun. ☀️🌙

We loved seeing their curiosity, creativity and excitement as they explored this amazing event! 💛

🥕🍅 Fresh from our Pearls Market! 🍎🥒

Our little Pearls turned into the cutest fruit and vegetable vendors 🛒💚

Using real fruits and vegetables, the children had so much fun buying, selling, chatting with their customers, and paying with pretend money. From crunchy carrots to juicy watermelons, our mini market was full of happiness!

Through this fun role-play activity, the children explored healthy foods, built their communication skills, and developed confidence—all while having an amazing time! 🌽🍓✨

Who knew shopping could be this much fun? 💛

🚶‍♀️ What an exciting adventure today! 🌟

We took a lovely walk to our local hospital, practising our walking skills, listening ears, and staying safe together along the way. 🧡

Our mission was to see if we could spot any ambulances 🚑... and we were lucky enough to see one! We also made a stop at the car park, where we were able to see some trains! The children were so excited to watch the trains go by, and we counted an amazing **8 trains**! 🚆👀

It was a wonderful opportunity to explore our local community, build our counting skills, and enjoy lots of conversations about the different vehicles we saw.

The children had a brilliant time learning and exploring! 🌈✨

📚✨ A Wonderful Visit to the Library! ✨📚

Our little learners enjoyed a lovely walk to the library, where they explored books together

On the way, the children had great fun counting how many buses they could spot—and they counted an impressive 26 buses on the journey there and back! It was a fantastic way to practise early maths skills while chatting about the different colours, sizes, numbers on the buses and where they were going. Some children even identified the buses that go near their house!

The children loved looking at books with their friends and we enjoyed a few stories together as a group ❤️

It was wonderful to see the children so engaged, turning pages, talking about the pictures, and discovering new favourites. We can't wait for our next visit! 📚😊

🐄🌾 Farmyard Fun! 🌾🐖

Our little farmers had a wonderful time exploring our farmyard tuff tray this week! They used shredded wheat as hay and added a variety of cereals to create the perfect farm scene for all the animals. 🌾🥣

There was lots of excitement as the children splashed the animals in the pond, cared for the farm, and even had a go at milking the cow! 🦆💦🐄

What a fantastic day on the farm! 🚜💚
