My name is David and I have been teaching in local primary schools for the last 8 years. Having tutored students and boosted their confidence in Maths, Reading comprehension and English, I am re-launching my Tutoring business. I bring with me a wealth of experience from within the classroom, having worked with children of all abi

My approach to tutoring is to make each session relaxed and enjoyable, but at the same time setting high expectations to help your child with the boost and additional support they could really benefit from. I like to spend time getting to know children and tailoring work around their interests where possible. I use a range of resources and am always willing to give as much feedback and time to each session
Having taught in large classrooms of up to 32 children, I know first hand how hard it is to offer the much needed support to children who don't necessarily have the greatest level of need in the classroom and sometimes a more focused 1:1 session can really boost confidence, motivation, self belief and enjoyment of learning.
