The smiling face so many of you know… always there with a warm welcome, a helping hand and usually the answer to whatever we’ve forgotten! 😂

We don’t often do birthday posts as there are so many wonderful people who make up our Danceworks family and we’d hate to ever miss anyone out — but today we couldn’t let Lorraine’s birthday pass without a little shout-out 🩷🖤

Alex, who takes singing lessons alongside other classes with us at Danceworks, has successfully auditioned for a place at the prestigious Chetham’s School of Music and will be starting there this September. ✨

Such a wonderful achievement and an exciting next chapter. We are very proud of you, Alex, and can’t wait to see where your musical journey takes you! 🖤💗🎵

After an amazing year competing at the Prima Championships, Lucy has been crowned:

✨ Senior Song & Dance Champion
✨ Senior Ballet Champion
✨ Senior Modern Champion

We are so incredibly proud of everything she has achieved 🖤💗

Winning these titles means Lucy will now be heading to the Prima Grand Finals this weekend to compete against the other champions! 🌟

Exciting news!! Our new Danceworks Thursday night kit is here! 🖤🩷

Dancers can choose any combination of items from the Thursday range, so you can pick what feels most comfortable for you 🩷🖤

The only requirement is that all Thursday uniform must be from the approved Danceworks Squad range and have the Danceworks logo on it ✨

Unlike our usual uniform, the Thursday range is ordered directly through Squad Dancewear 💫

Simply:

💗 Once Danceworks has been added to your account, you can return and order whenever you need to

Miss Jade is back at Danceworks on Tuesday 25th August for a full day of Acro training — perfect for anyone wanting some extra time to work on skills, technique, flexibility and confidence. ✨

🩷 Private Lessons | 10am–2pm

🖤 Level 1 Group Class | 3–4pm

🩷 Level 2 & 3 Group Class | 4–5pm

Whether you’re looking to polish existing tricks or work towards something new, these pop-in sessions are a great chance to get some extra Acro training in before September! 🖤💖

And to finish our congratulations posts, we have Tahlia 🩷✨

Tahlia’s next chapter looks a little different from the others — and we are every bit as proud of her ✨

After years of dancing with us, taking part in solo competitions, group competitions, every Danceworks show and plenty of pantos along the way, Tahlia is now heading to Manchester Metropolitan University to begin a Law degree ⚖️🌟

Dance has been such a big part of her life, and although she has chosen a different path for her future, everything she has gained through performing, competing and being part of Danceworks will always be part of her story 🩷🖤

Tahlia has also become a huge help to us on Saturday mornings, and we’re very pleased that she’ll still be around from September — so thankfully this isn’t really goodbye! 🖤

We are incredibly proud of the young woman you have become, Tahlia, and so excited to see you take on something completely new 💫

You’ve already shown us how hardworking, committed and determined you can be, and we know you’ll take all of that with you into university life 🎓💫

A brand new adventure awaits — and we’ll be cheering you on all the way 🩷✨
