Salford is currently undergoing a Local Area SEND Inspection by Ofsted and the Care Quality Commission (CQC). This inspection looks at how well education, health, and social care services work together to identify, assess, and support children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

As a parent or carer, your voice matters. Inspectors want to hear directly from families about their experiences of SEND services in Salford.

We encourage all parent carers, children and young people, and praticitioners to complete the inspection survey and share your honest views. Tell inspectors what you think Salford does well, where you have seen positive support and good practice, and where you feel improvements still need to be made. Every experience—positive or challenging—helps to build a true picture of what life is like for children and young people with SEND and their families.

This is an important opportunity to influence future services and ensure the lived experiences of families are heard.

🎯 We were delighted to welcome Chatsworth High School in Eccles to the Darts Hub this week for a fun and engaging darts session!

Chatsworth High School is a specialist school supporting young people with additional learning needs, helping them develop confidence, independence, and skills for life. It was fantastic to see the students getting involved, learning new darts skills, and enjoying the experience.
