A lot changes between 9 months and 2 years. Swimming lessons should too. β
In the first three years, babies and toddlers develop at an incredible pace. Their movement, coordination, attention, confidence and independence are constantly changing β so the way we teach them needs to change too.
Thatβs why our parent and child swimming lessons are grouped by developmental stage, rather than putting a very broad range of ages together.
π« Starlets 1 | Birthβ9 months
Gentle, supported experiences that introduce little ones to the water and help build early confidence.
β Starlets 2 | 9β18 months
As mobility and curiosity grow, lessons evolve too β encouraging movement, balance and increasing independence in the water.
βοΈ Comets | 18β36 months
For increasingly active toddlers, we build on water confidence with more independent movement, coordination, listening and simple swimming skills.
Because a 9-month-old and a 2-year-old aren't at the same developmental stage β and we don't teach them as though they are.
Different stages. Different needs. Brighter progress.
