Headteacher Mr Crossley praised students for their achievements and thanked staff for their dedication and support.

A significant number of students achieved the highest grades and are progressing to their chosen post-16 pathways, with many opting to continue their studies at Hall Park Sixth Form.

Among the top performers were Rose, Ashton and Zak, who all expressed gratitude to their teachers and will continue their education at Hall Park.

Students and staff at Hall Park Academy are celebrating outstanding A Level and vocational results this summer. Many students will now progress to university and other pathways, including prestigious degree apprenticeships. The vast majority of students gained places at their first-choice university.

Emma Kelly, Head of Sixth Form, said: "We are very proud of our Year 13 students. They have made great progress, with many achieving top grades. We are excited to see where they go next."

Julia achieved outstanding results in History, Sociology and Art, and will study Psychology at the University of Nottingham. She said: "The support and encouragement from my teachers played a huge part in helping me achieve these grades."

Amy achieved top grades in English, Geography and Business Studies. She said: "I am delighted to have achieved As in Geography and English and am looking forward to going to university." She will study Business at Nottingham Trent University.

James was one of Hall Park's highest achievers, excelling in Business Studies, Sociology and Geography. He has secured a degree apprenticeship in nuclear business at Rolls-Royce, saying: "I wouldn't have got the grades I did without the support of my teachers. I am really excited to start my apprenticeship at Rolls-Royce."

Headteacher David Crossley said: "Today, we celebrate our remarkable Year 13 students and the dedication, perseverance and commitment that have brought them to this moment. We are immensely proud of all they have achieved and grateful to have shared in their journey. As they move on to new opportunities, we send them our warmest congratulations and best wishes for the future."

Hall Park Academy is part of the Redhill Academy Trust, whose support has included events to broaden horizons, raise aspirations, and aid progression to higher education. The Academy has a vibrant, growing sixth form with a small number of places still available for September.

On Monday 13 July, the Year 7/8 girls football team travelled to The Redhill Academy to take part in the second Belief Girls football tournament.

Having won the tournament earlier on in the year without losing a game, the girls wanted to replicate the same outcome. The team displayed some great football whilst securing extra points through completing skilled challenges such as passing to everyone in the team with no interceptions, assisting players and dribbling past successfully in a 1v1 scenario.

After playing 6 other Trust school teams, the girls finished 1st place again, unbeaten again, resulting in the trophy coming back to HPA with us. Well done girls!

On Monday 13 July, Miss Kelly and Miss Hancock took Year 12 out into the community of Eastwood to complete a community litter pick. They headed to Coronation Park and collected a sizeable amount of rubbish! Items found included half a scooter, a denim jacket and an old filing cabinet!

On Sunday 5 July, the PE department took 8 very lucky students to go to the watch tennis on the biggest stage at Wimbledon.

Securing Court 2 tickets, students go to watch plenty of high intensity competition including men's doubles and men's and women's singles. In-between matches, we spent time exploring the ground, watched some of centre court tennis from the famous Henman Hill all whilst squeezing in plenty of strawberries and cream!

It was a fantastic day all round and students were brilliant.

✨ Year 11 Prom 2026 ✨

What an incredible evening we had celebrating our amazing Year 11 students at Goosedale last night.

Our students had an absolute ball from start to finish. The room was filled with enthusiasm, joy, and laughter, especially during our awards ceremony, where they cheered each other on after proudly voting for their classmates. It was wonderful to see such kindness, friendship, and support for one another.

Everyone looked absolutely amazing, arriving in stunning dresses, sharp suits, and with the biggest smiles. It was a night full of unforgettable memories, celebrating all they have achieved and marking the end of an important chapter.

Miss Bradley takes great pleasure in organising the Year 11 proms, and yet again she brought it all together beautifully, creating an event for everyone to look back on with fond, long lasting memories.

We hope to share more photographs soon (a massive thank you to Miss Brown for her camera work!).

Congratulations, Class of 2026 – what a fantastic way to celebrate! 🎉🎓✨

We are so proud of each and every one of our Year 11 students and wish them every success and happiness as they begin their next adventures.

On Wednesday 1 July our Rounders Academy played their first ever fixture, and it was against Bramcote College.

The Rounders Academy, which trains every Thursday and consists of 4 teams, worked incredibly hard and displayed excellent teamwork, communication and most importantly lots of encouragement and sportsmanship.

There was an abundance of fantastic batting and fielding work with plenty of rounders scored.

Well done everyone!

It was great to take the Year 9 Netball group to a fixture on Tuesday. Despite the heat they showed excellent determination, to come from behind at 4-2 to then win 5-4 is fantastic. The teamwork and resilience was brilliant, helping each other learn and understand each position all resulting in a win for the girls.
