Another busy day for us picking and pressing apples for next year's award winning Langar Cider.

This comes after a really good session at the catching up with the great and the good of cider making. The judging may not have gone how we wanted it to but there's a lot of new things happening and there are big plans in the works for East Midland Cider in 2026...🍏🍎🍏🍎

Great night yesterday at the 'soft launch' of Blue Monkey Brewery 's long awaited Taproom.

I had planned on getting lots of pictures and maybe a video or two but that all quickly fell by the wayside after the beer started flowing. You'll have to make do with just this bad selfie from us, Langar Cider and The Crumby Beard.

Really good to catch up with so many folks who are passionate about Nottingham's Beer (and cider) scene and thanks again to Blue Monkey for the invite.

We'll be down there again soon, no doubt.

The Taproom is now officially open so do go and check it out.
