This week we have done firework paints using cotton buds, made bread stick sparklers, made a cake and we out some delicious toppings on which the children choose.
We spoke about the colours, noises they make and how to keep safe on bonfire night.

We took a stroll to the library and chose some books to bring back with us.
Which we loved looking at and listening to.

We've also done lots of singing using singing cards for choices and props to link to songs like 5 little speckled frogs, wheels on the bus, wind the bobbin up and many more.

Today we did apple printing and spoke about where we get apples from.

We also did messy play with cocoa powder and crushed up weetabix to make a farm for the farm animals. We sang animal songs and spoke about the different animals.

We saw lots of lorries, bees, birds and squirrels.

When we got back we looked at lots of number books and completed some puzzles.

Today has helped the children understand the world around them. It has developed their coordination skills, taught them new words and numbers, which led to us singing number songs like 5 little ducks and 5 little speckled frogs.
