It’s not something people would immediately think of but with the unusually hot weather lately, it’s worth sharing. 2 years ago this baby suffered 2nd degree burns over 30% of his body from being accidentally sprayed with a garden hose and firefighters have issued a fresh warning recently.

Hoping to prevent this type of accident from happening again, the fire department warned: “A garden hose exposed to direct sunlight during summer can heat the water inside the hose (not flowing) to 130-140 degrees Fahrenheit which can cause burns especially to children & animals.
Let the water flow a few minutes to cool before spraying on people or animals"

Being a nursery nurse isn't just "playing with children" all day, we help them learn and watch them grow, some days children want cuddles and comfort when they missing mummy/daddy/carers.
We love to be silly, we love to sing and love to read stories, children love to get messy and we like to get messy with them, but most of all we love that children go home happy after a busy day at nursery. There's nothing more the children love than to have a snuggle with their key worker this is why we work hard on building bonds with our children and a snuggle is just what everyone loves ###xx

Wollaton Village day Nursery Eastwood are looking for new team members!!
Candidates must be under 4 ft tall, under the age of 5 and have a lust for life!
They must be messy and energetic and have a slightly mischievous streak!
Minimum wage regulations do not apply, in fact you must pay us! Government relief can be claimed by means of tax free childcare, 2,3 and 4 year old funding.
A limited amount if vacancies are available, however more will become available in September!
