In early years, children are always changing. Becoming interested in something new or more challenging for their growing minds. Behind the big coloured doors is a treasure trove of resources that always attract a little face to that wants you to get out something new!! The thing I love most about my job is watching how the little ones grow and change over their time with us. We get to share such important moments with families that come to us and we love to help children flourish and set them with solid foundations to their next level of education.
At Robin’s Nest we take so much pride in helping all of our little nesters and celebrate all the milestones they achieve
Our Robin’s Nest team are such an asset each one bringing unique skill and experience with all children.
This week I’ve taken snap shots and of proud moments in independant play, and I couldn’t help but smile at how happy and settled they all look !

A lovely Sunday walk, the sun was shining and it was the perfect opportunity to collect autumnal leaves for preschool next week !! Working in early years means my mind is always planning fun things to support our little robins with their learning!! The leaves are changing to such lovely colours !! If you see any conkers or other cool items collect them and bring them in to show us!!

Part of our curriculum is loving our community and the children loved going to the park and exploring on the way !! We wanted to find a new park so we went on a park hunt !!

It was lovely to see all the children enjoying being outside and observing the world, climbing and running using all their muscles !!

The children look like they are having so much fun !! 🤩

Sharing a book together is such a nice way to help your child love books.
Reading encourages children to explore the pages look at printed words and different types of pictures. It’s a great way to help with speech development and how to care for books.

It’s nice to be able to introduce new stories to your collection and specially when you’ve read one a few times !!!

At Robin’s Nest you can borrow a book from our library shelf !! Come in and take a look !!

Don’t forget to apply for your codes if you are applying for the 30 hours funding for working families. This has to be done by the 31st of August. It’s always worth checking what you are eligible for on the best start in life web page.
All parents that already do please check and renew your codes before the 31st of August to make sure your funding is available in the Autumn term !!

I wanted to let you all know that our lovely Rachael has been offered a new position at Boorley park school and isn’t returning in September !!
