Today we welcomed our new Year R children into Ladybirds and Bumblebees for their very first day! 💜 From making new friends to exploring their classrooms and garden, the children have already shown so much curiosity, confidence and excitement. Today year 6 have had an exciting day doing bike ability.

They built confidence, learnt to check tyres, how to approach junctions and how to get on and off bikes correctly.

We can’t wait for tomorrow for day 2!

This morning we had a very special moment one of our year 6 students who couldn’t ride a bike, quickly learnt from one of the fabulous Bike ability team and is now a confident rider.

Well done we are so proud of you!

We have had a really busy day of training at school today, but we are ready for everyone to return to school tomorrow morning. We will see you at 8.45am.

Reminder that:

*️⃣ Y1 & Y2 should be dropped to the outside classroom doors.

*️⃣ Y3, Y4, Y5 & Y6 should all meet their teachers on the playground. Teachers will then take them in to the building and upstairs to their classrooms. At the end of the day children will also meet parents/carers on the playground.

*️⃣ There is NO outdoor learning/Forest school this week so please wear school uniform. An email will follow later this week with further information.

*️⃣ Due to a few issues with the lunch ordering system Swift Kitchen and the new FSM system, we ask that you check your Swift Kitchen account on Wednesday morning.
