🚀 This week was out of this world 🌍
We have been talking about Space and the planets. We made space rockets, space buggies and aliens out of recycled construction. Using resources of our choice and choosing how to stick them together. 📦
We enjoyed the sunshine running outside pretending to ‘blast off’ and practicing our moon walk having spoken about gravity earlier in the day. 🚀
We played together in the space ship, taking turns to press buttons and talking about astronauts. 🌙
We developed our fine motor skills by cutting around planets to make our own solar system ✂️
We made sun catcher Saturn 🪐 for you all to see
We had a sensory moon rice where we searched for trinkets and made moon dough and talked about its lovely soft texture.
We painted foil with paint and glitter to represent a starry night and independently made rockets using shapes, critically thinking about where each shape had to go. Amazing work! Thanks playgroup we had a blast! 💥

What a busy few weeks we've had!
It was lovely to welcome back existing children and to see how well new children are settling in.
We have enjoyed lots of stories by Julia Donaldson, finishing with the Gruffalo Granny.
We hunted for sticks to make our own stickman. Painting and tying fabric around them using our pincer grip needed for early writing.🌳
Our allotment has had a makeover, we now have a new compost heap and w**d free beds.
Thank you to Luke and his team.🌻
We have enjoyed using the space this week.

A little too hot for some of us 😂.
We look forward to welcoming you all back today, both old and new children. We have lots of fun activities planned for this term and can't wait to see and hear how you have grown.

Here it is, the moment you've been waiting for!
As we say goodbye we would like to thank you all for your support and overwhelming kindness. There wasn't a dry eye in the house.
We think its all over, it is now! 😢

What a great turnout for our Fathers day afternoon tea. We had such a lovely time and have had so many positive comments about it.

It's nearly time to enjoy some cooler weather at the Badger for our playgroup fundraiser this weekend.

We've tried to beat the heat, but have had to admit defeat. 🥵
With the temperature set to rise and the room already hitting 30° we will be closing at 12noon tomorrow and Thursday.🌡
The children have enjoyed water play and ice pops to try to stay cool 😎
