Our Grandparents' Afternoon was a fantastic celebration of community, connection and shared memories.

Grandparents enjoyed spending time with the children, chatting over coffee and answering their questions about what life was like when they were young. Our choir performed beautifully, and the afternoon provided a wonderful opportunity to celebrate our school and the generations that make our community so special.

More of our children (and staff!) in their Dahl-ightful costumes for LitFest - a love of all things Roald Dahl and reading definitely shone through! 📖

🇬🇧 Our children had a fantastic time meeting our local MP, Josh Babarinde OBE at Eastbourne's LitFest last week, talking about democracy and a possible visit to the Houses of Parliament in the future. 🇬🇧

This is the Y5 & Y6 League team for our first fixture of the season.
Yesterday after school we hosted Stone Cross School and our team played some amazing football, even earning compliments from the opposition coach!
The boys won their first match 3-0, with impressive individual skills on show and amazing teamwork! ⚽

A huge well done to all the boys!

We would also like to say a big thank you to Miss Trevett and Sheldon for getting the pitch and goals match ready, as without their teamwork and dedication to extra curricular activities, the clubs would not run. ⭐

Your Eastbourne BID Team are inviting the children of Eastbourne to design a light that they'll build and display as part of this year's Christmas decorations.
The theme is Cinderella, in keeping with this year's pantomime at the Devonshire Park Theatre. Think glass slippers and fairy godmothers!
The winner will switch on our Christmas lights at Bankers Corner at 6pm on the 28th November. The winner will also receive a family ticket (2 adults and 2 children) to Cinderella as well as runner up prizes.
Entry sheets will come home today with students. You can also download and print a sheet using the link below.

Please return this to the school office by Tuesday 6th October.

Closing date: Wednesday 7th October (entries will be collected on this day)
