The IB English Tutor I’m Genna, an experienced international English teacher and IB examiner specialising in IB DP English Language & Literature, Literature and English B.

For families who are starting to feel the nerves as exams approach, or who want to begin the term feeling calmer and more confident - I’m a fully qualified, DBS-checked English teacher with over 20 years’ experience teaching across the IB and UK curricula, in both UK and international schools.

I work with home-educated students as well as those in mainstream education who need targeted support with English, including neurodivergent students. My approach is shaped not only by professional experience, but by lived, day-to-day understanding of how different minds learn, cope and flourish.

My teaching is warm, structured and practical, helping students hit the ground running at the start of term, reduce anxiety, and build confidence steadily rather than feeling rushed or overwhelmed.

I offer bespoke tutoring, guidance and resources, online or in person, and I’m always happy to answer questions or talk things through.
