It's Monday and Jen is over at Bluebell Wood to deliver paediatric first aid to nursery staff who want to ensure that they're up to date with all the latest techniques and information.

The team have already done half of their training to meet the requirements of Ofsted but today we're in person, complete with manikins to put those skills into practice 💚

Good afternoon Everyone.

As many already know Lauries little lambs has been running as a private one to one childcare business with self employed Nanny’s.

Jess left over a year ago to have her little girl and she is expecting another new arrival in April. So unfortunately we won’t be having her back anytime soon.

Sammy and I still care for some of our regular children that we have had since babies. ( now nearly 7) 1 parent has had another baby who we also care for.
Due to the difficulty of finding self- employed nanny’s with all the correct training and documentation we haven’t been able to take on any new children.

I have now moved to a large house in hailsham with a lot of grounds and I’m considering maybe changing to childminding.

I have to sort all new documentation with Ofsted first, Which will take time and sort a brand new room/unit totally kitted out for the children.

It will be very exciting and very kid friendly.
It will also have a nice outdoor play area with lots of outdoor equipment.

Sammy will also do it with me and we may take on an assistant. ( one of my other daughters) both mummies so very experienced and family oriented ❤️

Maybe also Saturday clubs if enough interest.
We have woodland so lots of fun outdoor play ( this all depends on Ofsted etc)

I’m just wondering if there is a call for this and whether it’s a good idea for mums in the area ?
