Introducing DABBBLE, the platform designed to ‘Make Work Experience Work’.

DABBBLE is a new platform and app aimed at transforming work experience by focusing on flexibility, safe environments, and inclusive culture. It emphasises the importance of youth voice in shaping work experiences, and encourages young people to explore various creative activities to gain valuable skills while enjoying the process.

Research was carried out in Hastings, Newhaven, and Brighton with three partner groups that were selected based on varying aspirations, and young people were invited to join an advisory board. The findings highlighted the importance of meeting young people where they are, showcasing peers in work experience roles, and offering flexible experiences instead of a single opportunity. This led to the co-creation of DABBBLE.

The online platform and app are set to launch in early 2025, with plans for a co-created DABBBLEZONE at Hastings Games Fest in January 2025. You can join the DABBBLE beta platform and sign up for Hastings Games Fest at the  .

The Breakthrough programme is open to any young person between the ages of 16 –25, with qualifications gained up to school or college level. (It is not suitable for those with qualifications at level 5 or above).
