Today we celebrate the beautiful county we call home. From our stunning coastline to the rolling South Downs, Sussex is full of history, nature, and community spirit. It is also a day to celebrate our famous local motto: "We wunt be druv" (We won't be driven!). It reminds us all to be independent, stay true to ourselves, and work together.

​Tyler and his football team had the incredible opportunity to play at Old Trafford, home of Man Utd, after being selected for a special tournament. ​

​To make the day even more memorable, his team went on to win the Plate competition. ​

🚂 Locomotive Engineering Apprenticeship – Bluebell Railway

Fantastic opportunity for students to join a funded 2-year apprenticeship from September 2026, gaining hands-on experience maintaining and repairing steam locomotives.

✅ Grade 5+ in Maths, English & Science
✅ Studying (or planning to study) Mechanical Engineering or similar
✅ Interest in engineering and practical skills
