Fireflies Mission statement. Fireflies Childcare is an after school club that will run from the Butterfly rooms adjacent to Motcombe School, in starlands at Stafford school or in the hall at cavendish primary school. We also provide breakfast club at Stafford school. The premise of the Fireflies after School Clubs is to provide care for children aged between 4-11 after the end of the school day from 3pm-6pm, and to provide care from for children aged 4-11 from 8am-6pm in the holiday times. We will adhere to session outcomes in line with the white paper ‘Every child Matters’ which state;

1. Enjoy and achieve,

3. economic wellbeing,

4. being healthy,

5. positive contribution. The rooms will be set up for the children to choose their own activities and socialise with their peers. Children will be encouraged to join in with the activities as much or as little as they like. Our planning will be created with this in mind; and the children will be consulted in their interests and in what they would like to achieve.
