Phew.. It's a little cooler this week, thank goodness, I hope the children have an easier week at school x

Just a little reminder to please bring named water bottles to dance classes every week : )

Dearest Mum's and Dad's

We are very aware that the temperatures are extremely high this week... but we are hoping to continue our classes x

We will keep the curtains closed and all windows open to provide a lovely shady studio for the children to dance in. Yesterday it was actually very cool in the hall... it helps that it's a lovely old building and the curtains were shut all day.

We ask for every child to please bring a water bottle and to wear just a leotard, or minimal dance-wear with bare legs and feet.

Miss Jade, Miss Maddie and I will take classes very steadily. There is still a lovely opportunity here to listen to some beautiful music, use percussion instruments to work on rhythm and also to do some gentle barre and floorwork and stretching exercises : ) Children may also find they get a chance to dance individually or in little groups..

So there will be plenty of time to sit next to the fan and have a drink and keep as cool as possible : )

We promise to look after them x

However, if you'd rather stay at home in this heat... or for health reasons, feel your child is at risk from heat exhaustion, we will totally understand if they miss classes this week x

If we change our mind... we will let you know : )
