Hola! Bonjour!
It is now almost six months since LingoEasy lessons went to Zoom/Skype and I would like to say how impressed and proud I am of all my fabulous students, some of whom I know were a little anxious about changing to online lessons. In fact the system works really well and some of you I know really enjoy not having to get out of your pyjamas to do the lesson if you don't feel like it! I know that many of you really looked forward to our lessons, as did I, during Lock Down as they provided personal contact, stimulation for the brain and a structure to the day.
Lessons are now all one to one, with an initial face to face socially distanced meeting for new students to discuss the needs and requirements of the student. I have a few spaces for new students during the day at the moment.
Well done everyone and let's keep communicating, thinking and laughing in another language!

You really are never too young to learn a language! Yes, it can be challenging, but it has now been proven that learning a second language delays the onset of types of dementia more effectively than any medication. And as proof that the elderly can learn just as well as younger students, I have two wonderful mature but young at heart seventy something students who are making amazing progress! One (she is actually 80) started from scratch a few months ago and now she can have a simple conversation in Spanish. The other started with a little more knowledge of Spanish a couple of years ago and he can now have a conversation about anything you like, using a range of tenses and vocabulary! So don't delay, if you have been thinking about getting that muscle in the brain working, now is as good a time as any!
