Bolete - Pseudoboletus parasiticus. A parasitic bolete that feeds on earthballs (Yay!) And is in fact edible whereas earthballs are not and quite prolific right now... The 'boletes' are the brown ones and the earthballs (Scleroderma citrinum) the other ones. The light was fading and my phone typically over corrected the colours and omitted the yellow of the earthballs...

Shepherd's Purse - showing where it got its name from... A peasants purse... This is a very common plant found in London but this specimen is from the banks of the river in Kent. The specimens were so much bigger than I've seen in London - I guess from not being trampelled or mown. Much more of a realistic harvest... I've now sown their seed (some weeds!) with my cabbages to get a crop. Now to research these Chinese pankakes...
