We are incredibly proud of our talented players celebrating a phenomenal run of victories.

Huge congratulations to Maya, Matthew and Lake for brilliantly representing Sussex at the U11 County Cup! The winning streak continued as Matthew, Lake, Maya and Alessia were crowned victorious at the U11 Lancing Annual Tournament, defeating a strong Brighton College side in the final.

Plus, a massive well done to Lily and Amelia for bringing home the silverware at the U13 Annual Mayfield Cup!

We are incredibly proud of all your hard work, team spirit, and dedication on the court. The future of Bede’s tennis is looking incredibly bright!

Pre-Prep had a stellar day exploring space & STEM hands-on at Herstmonceux Observatory.
Our mini-scientists loved investigating the interactive exhibits, learning exactly what an astronaut wears in a fun workshop, and watching an action-packed science show! 👨‍🚀

Huge congratulations to Sadie, who is heading off to Dublin to represent England at the Dance World Cup!

Sadie will be competing on the world stage in Tap and Musical Theatre. We are incredibly proud of you, Sadie - good luck!

After three successive wins and a brilliant Quarter Final victory against Westbourne House, our girls have booked their spot at Stamford School for the IAPS U13 Cricket Finals Day, on Wednesday.

With the match moved indoors to beat the weather, Bede's set a strong 84-3 thanks to a superb 54 not out from Lolly. A fierce bowling display then dismissed Westbourne for 35 in just 5 overs, featuring an incredible hat-trick from Mimi and vital wickets from Lolly, Amelia and Tilly.

Played in fantastic spirit, we are incredibly proud of the girls and can't wait to cheer them on next week.

Our Pre-Prep pupils brought so much energy and enthusiasm to the pool for the Pre-Prep Swimming Gala. Whether they were powering through the Froggie Kick, navigating the Noodle race or tackling a full length of front crawl, everyone gave it their all.

We are incredibly proud of their effort, determination and most importantly, the huge smiles on display throughout the gala.

An enormous congratulations to Daegan, Xanthe and Tilly for their incredible performances at the IAPS National Swimming Finals!

Competing at the iconic London Aquatics Centre, the trio smashed Personal Bests in the 50m Breaststroke and Backstroke. We are so proud to have nationally recognised swimmers at Bede's Prep, testament to all their hard work.

Rainbow Fish brought nature indoors to explore their senses! They loved feeling different textures, from crumbly soil to soft leaves and flowers. This hands-on sensory play was perfect for building fine motor skills and sparking early curiosity about the natural world.

Just before half term, we were delighted to host the Regional Finals of the English Speaking Union's Performing Shakespeare competition. Year 8 pupil, Eddie had progressed through two previous rounds and performed fabulously, delivering a monologue from 'Romeo and Juliet'. We are immensely proud of his achievement and dedication in reaching this stage of the competition.

We were also lucky to have Year 8 pupil, Alfie, stepping up as our fantastic MC for the event! Thank you, Alfie, for keeping the audience engaged and running the show so professionally.

Our pupils had a fantastic day on Bank Holiday Monday at the NSEA show jumping qualifier! In extremely hot conditions, all of our horses and riders performed brilliantly.

Well done to the entire team for jumping some truly spectacular rounds.

Extra congratulations to Penelope (Year 8) and Chloe (Upper Sixth) who have both qualified for the NSEA National Championships at Addington this October!

A great weekend for the new Bede's Table Tennis Academy! 🏓

We are thrilled to celebrate a phenomenal debut at the Sussex County Championship 2026. Our players dominated the tournament, bringing home the titles for the Under 11, Under 13 and Under 16 events!

Some of the highlights include:
• Year 7 pupil Gabriel claimed the title of Champion in both the Under 16 and Under 13 categories!
• Year 6 pupil Raphael won the Under 11 Championship!
• Year 6 pupil Mikhail reached the Quarter Final of the Under 11, losing narrowly 3-2, in his first ever tournament!
