Carolyn's Kiddies - Ofsted Registered Childminder

Well, that’s it, yesterday was my final day in childcare after 22 years & 4 months!
I just want to thank every family that chose, & trusted, me with their child(ren) over that time.
I won’t tag anyone as such because I don’t want to miss people out but I would like to give a special mention to;

My first early years Kiddie who we tragically lost at age 17 (always in my heart) 💔

The final 7 Kiddies that made it to the end with me.

Childminders that I have met & shared many adventures with. I can’t call them ‘colleagues’ but good friends who have always been there for support & with a wealth of knowledge.
For you I hope you finally get the full recognition that Childminders deserve, especially with regard to funding & that the Government realises that ‘our’ job can often have the best outcomes for very young children. Being optimistic here?

The families that were with me in 2015, & the Childminder who opened her home & heart to one of my Kiddies, when I had to take a few weeks off. Thanks to you all I was able to recuperate without having to worry about work (one of my biggest foibles 🤦🏻‍♀️ as I don’t like letting people down).

My last 2 girls who finished yesterday, good luck as you both start a new chapter in September, one to school & one to Nursery. I’m sure you will be the stars I know you are capable of being 💖💖

Hopefully, as you are all now family (😱) I will still get to see a lot of you & keep up to date with my Kiddies progress & get sent photos of special events, & I’ll definitely always be up for coffee mornings ☕️

Today’s adventures took place at Blackberry Farm Park and what a day it was too.
Very mixed emotions as not only did we have to wave 👋 goodbye to some of our friends, we also waved goodbye 👋 to an incredibly amazing childminder Carolyn's Kiddies - Ofsted Registered Childminder- you will be missed.
We also welcomed our newest Little Learner as they started their first day of adventures with us, so incredibly proud of them as they did amazing 💜.
We enjoyed a range of activities today -
♟️A game of chess,
🐐A walk around the farm,
🐰Animal handling,
🛝Play in the park,
🏜️Building sandcastles,
🐴 Pony rides,
🐛Bug barrel ride,
🚜 Tractor ride,
Zip line, bouncy pillow, go karts and the trampolines.
Everyone Rascals R Us Childcare and Carolyn Patnell had such an awesome@ day 💜

An emotional day spent at Blackberry Farm Park 🐷🐐 as we had our last adventure with Carolyn's Kiddies - Ofsted Registered Childminder as Carolyn is retiring 👋🏻 Along with Little Learners Childminding we had a great day though with animal handling 🐰 pony rides 🐴 & various play areas to explore 👀

We spent our final week visiting Eastbourne Miniature Steam Railway on Tuesday, Treasure Island on Wednesday & BlackBerry Farm today.
We spent time with friends every day doing lots of activities including train rides, playing in the water & sand, soft play, pony rides, jumping pillows, go karts, seeing the animals, tractor ride & eating ice creams. Think I had two very tired Kiddies to say goodbye to today 🥺

We all had a lovely day meeting for fun outside & inside at Treasure Island 🏝️ 🧡

We met our friends Little Learners Childminding, Carolyn's Kiddies - Ofsted Registered Childminder & Ali's today at Treasure Island (Eastbourne) 🏴‍☠️ for outside water play 💦 building sandcastles 🏰 & having fun 🤩 After lunch 🥪🧃🍓 we ventured into soft play 🛝 to continue the fun
