PRESCHOOL ISN’T JUST CHILDCARE

What looks like play can be a whole lot of learning. 🌱

At Chalk Hill, children develop communication, friendship, problem-solving and independence through painting, building, digging, pretending, talking, climbing and experimenting.

Preschool isn’t just childcare.
It’s the beginning of a child’s learning journey. ❤️

🦋Our butterfly children have enjoyed a great range of activities in our room this week. We have been sorting elephants by colour and size as well as using our lovely mathematical language through counting. We have enjoyed building a range of structures out of different construction materials and dressing up as a builder as we do so. The play dough has been a big hit as always, we decided to make clothes for the jungle animals with it. We have enjoyed creating pictures with paint and cotton buds to develop our fine motor skills. All activities have been carefully planned by our room leader and staff to support the children’s development and curiosity and interests. 🦋

🐛Our Caterpillar children have had fun exploring this week. There has been a wide range of activities on offer to support our younger children in their areas of learning carefully planed by our 2 year lead and room leader. 🐛
