West Acre Montessori School We offer a child centred environment which embraces the Early Years Foundation Stage and the Montess This enables them to be well prepared for starting school .

We aim to provide a safe, happy and secure Montessori environment . Set on the common in East Walton amid the Norfolk countryside we offer a unique, child centred environment for your child to learn and progress. Following the Montessori Method accompanied by the Early Years Foundation Stage we plan for and help children to attain their goals .

We are back! We have all been in school today ( including Clara) for a staff meeting! We look forward to welcoming our new children and everyone back next week!

With the end of the summer holidays on the horizon our thoughts turn to getting the school prepared for our return .
Looking through cards and letters from the end of last term I thought I’d share a few thoughts from our parents …….

The Westacre Montessori Team have been amazing for myself and my daughter . The care and effort that goes in day to day from the team is exceptional.she loves being within the environment especially the big garden and loves how she gets to spend so much time outside . I can’t thank the team enough in preparing her for big school especially Rosie and Rachael , we only wish we could stay longer . GC

From the very beginning our daughter has been nurtured in such a calm supportive environment. The care ,patience and dedication shown by all the staff have truly helped her grow not only an academically but also emotionally and socially. The Montessori approach has had a lasting impact on her development. She has developed a genuine love of learning , improved her communication skills, able to solve problems and build positive relationships with others . Most importantly she has always felt safe , valued and happy in your setting , which means everything to us as parents . A&R

We feel incredibly fortunate to be part of the Westacre Montessori Family. Watching our daughter grow during her time here has been a joy . Rosie ,Rachael and the girls have all been amazing . Their kindness, patience and genuine care have made such a difference to her early years and it is reassuring to know she has been so well looked after every day .
Westacre Montessori has provided a warm and nurturing environment where she has formed lovely friendships, developed valuable life skills and discovered a genuine love of learning .
In fact when I asked her what her favourite thing about school was she simply said “I just love everything about school “. I think that says more than anything else ever could .LW

Our beautiful yurt has been the home of our baby group!
Starting in September there will be two groups Tuesdays 9:30am 0-12 months and Thursdays 9:30am 12-24 months, a few spaces are left in each group.
Term Time only
£10 per session paid by BACS for a 6 session block.

We had a wonderful end of term picnic in the big garden .
Paddling pool and lollies to keep us cool , although it was very
hot 🥵 .
A sad goodbye to all the children going to big school , but I feel that we’ve given them a great beginning, more children starting in September who we’re looking forward to working with .
School is having a refurbishment over the holidays so it will be freshly painted with new flooring !
Esme’s baby group is going from strength to strength and we shall now be having more sessions each week ( more to follow on that ) .
Thank you for sending your children to us and allowing them to be part of our Westacre Montessori family .

After the success of our baby group we have now added another session from September on a Tuesday and extended to 24 months, so sessions will be as follows Tuesdays 0-12 Months Thursdays 12-24 Months!
