Good evening everyone! 🌻

I hope you've all had a lovely week.

It's been a bit of a hectic one here! With the schools back, the roads seem busier than ever, and my workload has certainly increased too. I was also away in Brighton last weekend, so I haven't had much opportunity to spend time crafting.

While looking through my journals today, I came across this page and it immediately caught my eye. 🌻 We have beautiful sunflowers growing in our garden, and a dear friend recently gifted me a bunch that now brighten up my kitchen window. Sunflowers have always been one of my favourite flowers and they hold a very special meaning for both me and my family. They never fail to bring a little sunshine and positivity to the day.

Today's journal page is a simple one from my IndigoBlu journal, featuring gorgeous sunflower paper from a beautiful paper pack I picked up at one of the Secret Retreats a couple of years ago.

Good morning everyone.

Hope you're all well. I'm in Fueterventura for 10days. It's quite cloudy at the moment but warm.

Before I came away, I've been playing with the Halloween paper books and made a tag journal. Here's a few pages from it. I love these books as they are so versatile and you can cut elements from them and make something spooky. I've also used some bits and pieces from my stash.

Have a fun crafty weekend.

Love and cwtches

Hello everyone

Hope you are doing ok.

Today I have a tag which was inspired by Caroline's post on Sunday i.e. not necessarily limiting myself to 30 minutes but using scraps left on my desk from other projects to make a new one.

I had been using the stamps Magazine Box Kit No 9 for another project and as I usually do I had stamped out more images than I needed. So I coloured the stamped images and popped them onto this tag using my favourite colour scheme of green.

If you decide to try this way of creating (so helpful when your mojo is not working) then please share your makes with us.

Happy crafting

Hello!
Here’s another quick make from the new Halloween release, made even faster by using a small 5x5” card blank & cutting it to size.
I just stamped the mummy so its waist was on the fold line & used a craft knife to cut around the top half of the body.
If the line across the middle bothers you, just stamp onto a plain piece of kraft card & fold yourself.
I think I’m going to do this for my trick or treaters this year but with a slightly bigger brown paper bag to hold the treats.
What do you do for Halloween? 🎃
You know I am always on the lookout for more ideas! 👻
Happy crafting,
Lynne xx

Good evening everyone

Tonight I set myself a little creative sprint — just 30 minutes to see what would happen if I stopped overthinking and simply made. It’s been ages since I created a page in my 6x6" journal pad, so it felt like the perfect place to play.
I didn’t gather anything special, didn’t plan a colour palette, and didn’t sketch out an idea. Instead, I used whatever happened to be living on my desk. There’s something wonderfully freeing about that — letting the leftovers, the offcuts, and the half‑finished experiments guide .
What could you create in 30 minutes tonight?

✨ Happy Friday everyone! ✨

How are you all doing, are you ready for the long Bank Holiday weekend? We are off to Brighton to celebrate a family wedding. It’s been a really busy week here — something on every evening after work! On Wednesday I whisked a friend off to the Bath Thermae Spa for her birthday, which meant I needed a super‑quick card before heading out the door.

I reached for the Magazine Box Kit 11 that was sitting on my desk and put together this easy, pretty card in no time. A few embellishments later and it was ready to go. These magazine box kits are such amazing value — packed with inspiration, hints, tips, and everything you need to create your own designs.
