All set up ready for tomorrow. We are really looking forward to welcoming our children back and super excited to see some new faces too. We are keeping the majority of the setting the same however some bits have been swapped out. Focusing on the children’s love for building and role playing we have our houses, people, magnetic tiles and building props out. We also have our emotion stones and mirror for self regulation as we always do at the start of a new term. We also have our puppets out for lots of story telling and songs for our little ones.

This weeks plans are -
Settling back into routine, building new friendships, lots of free play while we settle back and later in the week we are back to school

See you all soon ❤️

It’s that time again. Time to say goodbye to another little one off for school. It definitely never gets any easier. A huge thankyou to H’s mummy and daddy for choosing me and trusting me. We’ve made so many lovely memories together that I will cherish forever. Thankyou for my lovely gift. I will treasure the picture (hidden in the picture as I don’t show faces here). Shine bright at school H I know you will absolutely love it and I can’t wait to hear all about it 🥰

One of my little ones leaves for big school today 😭 so what better way to celebrate her time here than a party plate full of her favourite foods. We went to the shop and she picked exactly what she wanted for her last day buffet ❤️

All set up and ready to welcome my little ones back into our new setting ❤️ keeping the play room simple this week so they can explore and get used to their new surroundings. We now have a designated safe sleep space with projector lights and a nice clean child size place for them to eat together. Thankyou to all my families for sticking with me during the move. It’s taken some work but we are finally there. This open plan space that goes straight into the garden is going to be amazing for the children.

It’s important to stay cool in this weather and that includes our pets too. This morning we we for a nice cold drink at the train station, sat in the shade and watched some trains go by and then we carried on to the pet shop so we could pick out some bits we think would keep my cat Poppy cool. We made sure we made the most of the morning and we saw all the different coloured fish in their tanks and some seriously cute rabbits too. A lovely lady also let us see her giant rabbit who had just been to the vet. Now back to Kirstie’s to keep us cool and out of the heat

Mark making in the sand. I actually put nothing in this tray at all and the children moved some sand into it so they could make swirly patterns on the tray. So simple, so effective and completely child led too!

Hoping for some nice weather over the coming weeks so we can finally get out in the garden. Our playhouse has had a paint, we’ve got a new construction cupboard with foam bricks, trowels, hammers, trucks etc in, we’ve got our mud kitchen and accessories, our sand pit and our water table ready for the warm weather. The slide has also had a good clean and we’ve got some new ride on toys for the children to play on. The gazebo has a new sun shade so the children can sit underneath. We are just waiting on a new garden rug and some floor cushions for under the gazebo.

The bottom of the garden is slightly overgrown/ covered in leaves from the autumn so that will be blocked off so children cannot access it and once that is cleared in the upcoming weeks then we can make a start on our wildlife garden.

Last year me and Archie found a struggling hedgehog out in the day and managed to find a lovely local rescue for it. We opted to become a hedgehog release garden so once the bottom of the garden is clear we can make a start on making it safe and appealing for hedgehogs and other wildlife. ❤️
