Hi everyone,
This is one of the hardest posts I'm having to write to all my lovely dancing friends , ,
As a lot of people are aware now, that in July I got admitted to hospital with Pulmonary Embolism for a week, Unfortunately my health has been telling me for a while now to slow down, but when your passionate and love your job, sometimes we just carry on regardless,
I've been a dancer since I was three years old and have had the upmost pleasure in teaching dance for twenty years, and meeting teachers who I now call great friends,
DeBurnays Dance Centre has been a huge part of my life who I call family, such an amazing team of people , but you won't get rid of me he he, I will still be around and will look forward to watching your wonderful shows and updates of your progress at festivals and exams,
The children I've taught over the years will leave such a loving impression within me and I am so very proud of you all,
From the tots that have grown up dancing and now bring their own children to class is quite remarkable and feeling ancient says it all lol,
I've built a wonderful class up called Happy Feet with many wonderful friends and children I've met along the way,
Due to my health Unfortunately I'm having to hang up my dancing shoes and retire after an amazing adventure throughout my dancing years,
But I just wanted to thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for making my work such a pleasure ,
It's rare to enjoy your job as much as I have,
And I'm truly proud of every single child and all your smiley faces , you are what kept me going all these years and made my job truly worth while,
Thanks again everyone for everything, my dancing shoes are now hung up , although my shoes are actually that worn out their ready for the bin lol,
Love to everyone and thankyou for all your loyal support over the years ###x
Lots and lots of love
