Have a look at what we got up to on our Challenge Week - ADVENTURE ADDICTS week!

A great, CRAZY week! Thank you to all the teachers involved (special shout outs to: Jan Owen who organises this fantastic trip every year and has now retired, Lou Irons who has also just retired and Stu Diggins who has left us for pastures new). MAHOOSIVE thanks to the students who made it such a wonderful week of experiences, you gave it all you had with such courage! We're so proud of everything you accomplished, everyone who conquered any fears and EVERYONE who gave it a go ⭐🤩🌊

Challenge Week Arts Activity photos 😃 The students produced 60 AMAZING colourful canvases based on the work of Sarah Graham.
They photographed (then enjoyed eating!) ice-creams and ice-lollies from Kelly's Ice Cream van, before painted them.

Their canvases will be on show at the Ebeneezer Gallery in Polperro, from Monday 10 August until Sunday 23 August. The Ebeneezer Gallery is open 11am until 4pm daily, throughout the summer, with FREE entry.
The canvases will then be on display at the Guild Hall in Looe during the the Festival of Words for a week from Monday 28 September 🖼️🎨🖌️👀😊😊😊

Challenge Week - Food Challenge: CRUSHED IT! 💥The kitchen was blazing, the energy was electric, and our students absolutely smashed it!

From the very first whistle, these guys brought serious heat, massive hustle, and incredible teamwork to the kitchen.

Some highlights:
Power Breakfast: Fueled their day by cooking up an epic, full English breakfast.
Kitchen Reset: Scrubbed, wiped, and prepped the decks.
Pastry Pros: Hand-crafted perfect shortcrust pastry completely from scratch.
The Main Event: Nailed the ultimate crimp to bake traditional Cornish pasties.
Grand Finale: Finished strong with massive batches of fresh, golden scones.
By the final buzzer, the kitchen was absolutely boiling, but nobody backed down!

Every single student worked their absolute socks off and showed what they are made of. Massive respect to this crew!

What an incredible Challenge Week visit to Paris! From exploring famous landmarks and practising their French, to making unforgettable memories at Disneyland Paris, it was a fantastic few days. The students represented the school brilliantly throughout the trip, and we are SO proud of them all 🥖🥐🗼😁😎👌

What a fantastic afternoon we had at our Rising Talent Music Showcase on behalf of our Performing Arts Department on Wednesday 15 July, celebrating the incredible talent, dedication and progress of our young musicians.
Students from across the school performed with confidence and enthusiasm, showcasing a wide variety of musical styles and instruments. Every student who took to the stage demonstrated courage, commitment and a real passion for music. The event was designed to celebrate student achievement, provide valuable performance opportunities and share the work of the Music Department with our wider community.
A huge thank you goes to our visiting peripatetic staff, parents, carers and special guests, including members of Looe Lions and our Mayor Cllr Stephen Re*****on, for their support throughout the year and for helping to make the event such a success. We are incredibly proud of every performer who represented the school so brilliantly.
Events like these remind us of the power of music to build confidence, creativity and community. We look forward to developing even more opportunities for our students in the coming academic year.
