New Preschool coming soon

Exciting news for local families! Nurtured by Nature Nursery School is preparing to open its brand-new preschool department, offering a warm and welcoming environment where little ones can learn, play and grow. 🍂🦉

The new preschool will welcome children aged 3–5 years, as well as eligible two-year-olds, with funded hours expected to be available from November, subject to confirmation and eligibility.

A major benefit for parents is that funded hours will be completely free, with no hidden charges, no additional fees for funded hours and meals included.

Families will also have plenty of flexibility when choosing childcare, including:

🍁 Full days: 8am–6pm
☀️ Half days: Morning or afternoon sessions
📚 Term-time sessions: 9am–3pm

Booking patterns can be tailored around parents’ needs, whether that’s full days, half days or term-time childcare.

The preschool’s lovely nature-inspired theme continues with groups including Wise Owls, Curious Cubs and Little Fawns, creating a friendly setting designed to give children a happy start to their early years.

We’re delighted to have opened our brand-new nursery, Nurtured by Nature, and we’re looking for a caring, reliable and enthusiastic Nursery Cook to join our team!

The Role
You’ll be responsible for:
Preparing nutritious and child-friendly lunches and snacks
Following and maintaining strict allergen policies and procedures
Ensuring compliance with all Environmental Health regulations and food safety guidelines
Taking part in inspections when required
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the kitchen
Supporting a safe, welcoming and nurturing environment for our children

About You
Previous experience in a nursery, childcare or catering environment is preferred, but not essential
Must have, or be willing to complete, the necessary Food Hygiene and relevant training courses
A good understanding of food safety and allergen awareness
Reliable, organised and passionate about providing nutritious meals for young children

⏰ Hours: 16 hours per week, spread across 5 days
💷 Salary: From £10,575 per annum
📍 Location: Nurtured by Nature – brand-new nursery
