LMG DANCE STUDIOS is a fun, safe and professional dance school providing classes in a variety of styles for all ages and abilities.

Established in October 2002 by Lisa Gaffney (now Lisa Murphy) LMG School of Dance is one of the longest running dance schools in East Kilbride. With Lisa’s love for dance and passion for teaching, she has built up her dance school from scratch and has taught hundreds of students over the years. Many of these students ha

ve been with LMG since the early years and still love coming to class each week. Lisa started dancing at the age of 2 with Sandra Aitkenhead school of Dance then furthered her dance training by attending college at Lillian McNeil School of Dance. Lisa holds FBATD, AISTD, ASDTA qualifications amongst a number of other dance and fitness qualifications. The rest of the LMG Teaching Team comprising of Kayleigh Murray, Olivia Forster and Amy Lawrence are also qualified with the BATD. We also have trained first aiders within the team. Now re-branded as LMG Dance Studios, we provide dance classes for children to adults of all ages and abilities. We cover a wide variety of dance styles at our classes including Tap, Lyrical, Modern, Jazz, Disco, Majorette and Hip Hop. Each class provides various dance styles so students are able to get a mix of styles each week. All our classes are within a fun and positive atmosphere to allow students to enjoy their dance experience and gain as much as they can from it. We pride ourselves on being not just a dance school but a family! We offer support and guidance to all our students to help them to achieve anything they want to! We hold annual Summer shows where our students get the chance to showcase the work they have done throughout the year. Our Students also have the choice of doing BATD amateur exams which are sat within our dance studio. LMG also offer competitive classes. We have several successful competition teams that compete in Hip Hop and Lyrical divisions at various competitions throughout the year. LMG Dance Studios is fully equipped to a high standard. We have two studios, one large and one smaller studio. Each studio is equipped with full length wall mirrors and sound system. There is a staff office, large changing room, toilet facilities, welcome/reception area and a large private car park outside. We provide a safe environment for students to dance and enjoy their experience. Both our studios are available for hire, please contact us for more information! Our first time competing at Raise Your Game and what a day it was✨. A slightly different set up than our girls are used too, but they took it in their stride and were amazing as always 💫. The standard was high, sections were tough but our girls shone on that floor!

What a day at SLAY Dance Events yesterday for our comp team 🤍.

You all danced your hearts out and we are so proud of you all 🏆. From the majority of our full team being unwell this week and at points thinking we wouldn’t be able to compete, you all pulled together and absolutely smashed it 💪🏼.

Everyone at LMG would like to wish a MASSIVE GOOD LUCK to our girls Orla and Cameron who are currently in Florida getting ready to compete at the ICU Worlds 💫✨🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿.

Cameron is Captain of Youth Hip Hop for her first year representing Team Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 . Whereas Orla is returning for her 2nd Year with Team Scotland, this year representing Senior Hip Hop ✨🤍.

Both girls have been training intensely for months and are so excited to represent their country. This is an amazing opportunity for our girls, and we are so incredibly proud of the achievements they have made so far 🏆.

We cannot wait to watch you smash it on that Worlds Stage 🤍. We will post the links to watch the girls as soon as we have them 💫✨.
