East Kilbride Art Club returns for our Winter-Spring term, every Tuesday evening from 7pm at Saint Andrew’s and Saint Brides High School in East Kilbride. If your interested in joining us, you can contact us through or accounts on Instagram and Facebook, or via our website at www.ekartclub.co.uk.

We're set up and ready for you! Come along and find out more about our club whilst having a cuppa! There's lots of lovely stalls from local businesses too!

We have a table at this local craft fayre which was organised by one of our members, Jenni!

Come along to see some of our work and also to find out more about the club - if you have any burning questions Frances will be there to answer. Some of our work will be for sale so you might even be able to bag an original painting! 🙌

(Jenni will also be there with her own stall of her work too!)

There will also be lots of other stalls from other hand made local businesses so come along and support them!

Tea and coffee will be available ☕🍵

Some recent examples of colourful East Kilbride Art Club members work from our first couple of weeks back after the summer break.

The East Kilbride Art Club returns soon (Tuesday, 2nd September 2025) for its new autumn term, and there is an exciting programme planned for its members.

Members can look forward to the usual work evenings, themed evenings, an Artist demo and a visit to a local artists studio.

Last night at Art Club, we experimented with a new medium - coffee! Most of us felt it was a bit like watercolour except you had to wait for it to dry before adding more tone. We had fun trying it out. As one member said: 'if we're out painting and forget our paints, we know what to do!" 🤣

Last night at art club we had our lovely John doing a demo! He showed us how to use water oil based paints by painting an apple :) It was a really quick and interesting demo - we had a blast trying out water based oil paints :)

Two of our members are taking part in the Strange Times Pandemic Exhibition in Edinburgh! .art25
This show is to commemorate 5 years since the UK went into lockdown and to try and get more people talking about it.
Taking place in the Summer Hall this weekend you can see many interpretations of lockdown by lots of talented artists.
It's only on for this weekend so please come along and see and hear their stories!
Entry is free and it's on 10am-4pm Friday 21st, Saturday 22nd & Sunday 23rd March.
