🥋 Upcoming Judo Competitions – Club Entries
Hi everyone 👋

We have three competitions coming up over the next few months that we’re looking to enter as a club. These are great opportunities for our judoka to gain competition experience, build confidence and enjoy representing the club.

🥋 Sunday 20th September
Strathkelvin Mon, Kyu & Dan Open
Ages 8+

🥋 Sunday 4th October
Bonsai 2026
Ages 5–12

🥋 Sunday 22nd November
Keizoku 2026
Ages 5–12

⚠️ Important: Players must have a full, valid JudoScotland licence to compete.

📲 Full details for each competition, including costs, eligibility, competition format, closing dates and how to enter, are available on our Team App.

If you’re not already on Team App, you can sign up at, www.teamapp.com

Once registered, search for “EKJUDO” to find and join our club.

Please check the relevant Team App post if your child is interested in competing, as we’ll need their details to submit the club entry.

🥋 We’d love to see plenty of our judoka getting involved and representing the club! 💪

Team App is a platform that allows teams and groups to improve communication by creating their very own smartphone app.

Just a quick reminder that due to the Bank Holiday, there will be no judo classes on Monday 25th May.

Classes will restart as follows:
• Seniors: Thursday 28th May
• Juniors: Saturday 30th May

Congratulations on all of the players who fought at the Cherry Blossom today in Livingston. It is a great event for our players to develop their judo in a competitive environment, we had some fantastic judo and big ippons wins!

Due to a special event on at the JWSC on Saturday 29th November, the junior class has had to be cancelled. Classes will resume as normal on Monday 1st December.

🥋 Well Done to All Our Young Judoka at Today’s Keizoku Event!

A huge congratulations to all of our amazing judoka who took part in today’s Keizoku Judo competition! This event is designed to give young athletes a supportive, fun, and confidence-building introduction to competition beyond their home club—and every one of our participants rose to the challenge.

It was fantastic to see so much effort, enthusiasm, and great sportsmanship on display throughout the day. We are incredibly proud of everyone who represented our club with such spirit and determination.
