We’re just 3 days away from our home show at our Wishaw venue, and we’ve got 3 of our Rivals fighters stepping through the ropes to represent the gym! 🔥

One of the biggest moments of the night will see young William Brown stepping up to fight for the British K1 Title! 🇬🇧🏆

We’ve also added kids tickets at a reduced price, so we’d love to see as many of you there as possible, supporting our fighters and getting behind your teammates! 🙌

And that’s not all… 🎶

Our very own coach Gregor will be playing the tunes during the break with his band The Red Caird! 🎸🔥

“MY CHILD IS TOO NERVOUS TO JOIN…” 😰

We hear this all the time.

And usually, the children who are most nervous about walking through our doors are the ones who can benefit the most from doing it.

A busy class. New faces. A completely new environment.

Of course it can feel daunting.

But the idea of it is nearly always scarier than the reality.

Nine times out of ten, once they step onto the mats, get partnered with another child and realise how welcoming and lighthearted the class actually is… everything changes.

We’ve had parents ask, “Can I stay and watch?”

Two minutes later, their child has forgotten they’re even there. 😂🥊

We don’t want children growing up believing:

“That looks scary, so I don’t do things like that.”

Sometimes they need that little push to discover what they’re actually capable of.

A little discomfort today can create confidence that stays with them for years.

A small sacrifice for a lifelong payoff. ❤️

One of the biggest misconceptions about martial arts is that you’re going to walk through the door and suddenly start fighting or getting beat up. 🥊😂

That couldn’t be further from the truth!!

When you first come in, we’re teaching you the basic fundamentals, how to move, how to listen, how to learn and how to improve.

But underneath all of that, you’re learning something much bigger.

Confidence.
Self-belief.
Discipline.
Resilience.
Life skills.

And that’s only the beginning.
You don’t need to be tough before you start martial arts.

We’ve created a pathway & continuing to develop it to the best of our ability!

That’s why we created The Future Champions Programme!! Which is designed to bridge the gap between student and eventually progressing onto our Leadership Pathway 💪🏻

Future Champions will begin to take the next step in their Rivals journey.

They’ll:
✅ Train more regularly and double up on sessions
✅ Develop their skills at a faster rate
✅ Build confidence, discipline and consistency
✅ Become stronger role models within their classes
✅ Start preparing for the next stage of their journey at Rivals

It gives our students something to work towards, belong to and be proud of.

And importantly, Future Champions is invitation only.

Students are selected by our coaching team based on their attitude, effort, attendance and potential!
