Today marks World Su***de Prevention Day! 🎗️

The construction and utility sector is one where mental health issues are more prevalent than others and with this comes an increased risk of su***de. .

🦺 Between 2014 – 2024, there were over 7000 deaths due to su***de within the construction industry

🦺 73% of the UK construction industry have been impacted by mental illness

🦺 38% of those in the industry say they have suffered from depression in the last year

🦺 The su***de rate in the industry is 4 times higher than the UK Average

Those of us in the industry need to continue to raise awareness of this issue and foster environments where people feel safe to talk about their own mental health challenges.

By working together we can help save lives and tackle the issue within the industry.

Completed the National Water Hygiene course is mandatory for anyone that will be working on water sites throughout the UK. 💦

And now it can be done via the virtual classroom. 🖥️

Our trainer-led remote live sessions provide you with the option to take training without travelling to a training centre.
