✨ A NEW CHAPTER FOR REDHURST SCHOOL OF DANCE! ✨

We are absolutely thrilled to introduce ourselves as the new Principals of Redhurst School of Dance! 🩰💙

We are Chantelle Kite (Principal of Evolution Dance Academy) and Kristina Hewitt (Principal of Act One Beginners Drama School). Together, we also co-run Action Theatre Company, and we couldn't be more excited to combine our passion, experience, and love for the performing arts as we take the reins at Redhurst! 🎭💃

Between us, we bring decades of professional industry experience, performance expertise, and recognized qualifications. Kristina is both a Fellow of the ISTD—one of the highest teaching honors awarded in dance education—and an official BIFF (British and International Federation of Festivals) Adjudicator. Chantelle brings extensive IDTA-certified training alongside a stellar track record of preparing dancers for exams, stage shows, and competitions. Together, we are deeply committed to maintaining the highest standards of training, nurturing talent, and encouraging every student to reach their full potential.

First and foremost, we want to extend a huge, heartfelt thank you to Kay for her incredible dedication and leadership over the years. Redhurst has an extraordinary 40+ year legacy, and we are so honoured to build upon the wonderful foundation she created for this dance family. We wish her all the absolute best! 💐✨

What’s next?
We are beyond excited for the upcoming term and can’t wait to continue to meet all of our wonderful students, parents, and community members. Expect the same high standards of teaching, with plenty of exciting new energy and opportunities ahead! We are pleased to confirm that both Donna and Alice will be contiuning to teach for Redhurst.

Whether you’re striking a grand jeté on the beach, a tree pose in the mountains, or a pirouette in your back garden—we want to see your summer moves! 🏖️💃

We’re challenging all of our Redhurst dancers to stay active and dancing over the break by snapping a photo of their best dance pose while on holiday or enjoying the summer sun.

How to enter:
1️⃣ Take a photo of your dancer performing a dance pose anywhere you go this summer.
2️⃣ Post it on Instagram or Facebook.
3️⃣ Tag and use the hashtag so we can see and share your photos!
