I’ll be out of action for a few days… but don’t worry folks, I’ll be back posting photos of delicious classes, finalising the Home Ed schedule and preparing for your fun parties soon!!

Replies to emails won’t happen for a couple of days but I’ll get back to you as soon as I can.

The Duke of Edinburgh skills workbook is much prettier in it’s lovely folder… also safer from food splashes 😆.

There are one off spaces for teens left in some of the classes and I’m opening bookings for the Winter 2027 course soon. Message for more info if you’d like.

Cooking with a delightful group of teens today for the start of the Duke of Edinburgh and Teens workshops. A mixture of one off class attendees and DoE Bronzers, all getting stuck into some great knife skills, kitchen safety and creating delicious fresh pasta, bolognaise and bechamel for a hand crafted lasagne and pearl barley soup followed by scrumptious tarte tatin. Seriously wish I’d made more for my dessert! Little Wren Cooking

Q: How much cooking will the teens do at home for their Duke of Edinburgh skills course?
A: None if you don’t want them to!

All of the cooking is done here in the 5 hands on 3.5 hours classes and the rest is paperwork based!

The first DoE class takes place this Friday, 21st August, with spaces available to book as one off classes. There are currently 2 more DoE spots remaining.

A massive well done to such a great group of children in yesterday’s cooking class! We made flat breads, kebabs, coconut rice, frozen fruit skewers and enjoyed sampling and building Strawberry and Elderflower tiramisus. We even used the freshly made strawberry syrup for some refreshing drinks.
