CPD for acupuncturists - Ontake Moxibustion Level 1.
Later this year, Oran Kivity returns to ICOM to teach Ontake Warm Bamboo Moxibustion - a practical and clinically versatile meridian-based technique.

Ontake combines three therapeutic elements:
• Heat (via ignited moxa within bamboo)
• Pressure (applied through tapping, pressing and rolling along channels)
• Rhythm (using specific beats per minute to influence channel dynamics)

This structured yet adaptable method offers practitioners a precise way to engage with the channels beyond needling, making it a valuable addition to clinical practice.

This webinar will explore the Colombia project, where Gua Sha was introduced to practitioners from the Kogi, Wiwa and Arhuaco Indigenous communities and quickly adopted within their own healthcare practices. Using this inspiring case study as a starting point, we’ll look at what Gua Sha really is, why its potential extends far beyond the narrow ways it is often taught, and how this broader approach is reflected in the upcoming Level 1 training.

Brand new online CPD course for Acupuncture professionals and students.
Peter Firebrace will explore the gui 鬼 points, their qualities, uses and how we can use clinical combinations to help our patients recover their own authenticity, leaving negative influences behind.

Join us for an online two-part seminar, looking at why this particular set of points have been designated as gui 鬼 points, their qualities, uses and helpful clinical combinations in practice. It is an ancient tradition that through the use of metal and fire (needles and moxibustion) the gui 鬼 can be expelled and health restored.
