It is with great sadness that we have to inform you of the sudden death last Thursday of our dear colleague Jane Barty.
For those of you who didn’t have the privilege of knowing her, Jane joined us from day one when the Nursery opened over 22 years ago, only leaving us to retire last September. As well as a cousin to Carol she was a dear friend to many of us and her sudden passing has been a great shock to us all.
Thank you so much to those families who have sent us such nice words of sympathy & support 🫶

Welcome, Freya 🤩

We are very excited to introduce you to the newest member of the Nursery Team!
Freya has joined us recently as an Apprentice and will be learning and training on the job with us. Freya has already settled in so well and is enjoying getting to know all of the children 🥰

The end of the Summer is fast approaching and that means the start of a new Term ☀️🙌 We just wanted to say a massive Goodbye & Good Luck to all of those children who are leaving us to start their Primary School adventures 🫶 🏫 We know you are all so ready & are going to have the most amazing time!! Thank you to all those families who have brought in some lovely leaving gifts for the staff-it really is appreciated 🥰 Roll on September!!

Just a quick reminder that the Nursery is holding an INSET day this Friday, 30th August.
This means that the Nursery will not be open to any children on this day.

We look forward to welcoming you all back on Monday 2nd September for the start of another great term!!

⭐Staffing Announcement⭐

We would like to inform you all that Jane, who has worked with the company since 2002, has made the decision to retire at the end of this Summer.

Jane has worked at the Nursery and played a part at the After School, Breakfast & Holidays Clubs since the company first opened it's doors back in 2002. Jane really is very much part of the furniture (!) ...and she has been instrumental in making the company what it is today.

Jane's last working day will be on Thursday 29th August.

We are sure you will all join us in thanking Jane for her years (and years!) of service to All Kids and we wish her lots of peace and quiet as she enjoys her retirement years.

~Estcots After School Club Staffing Update~

We would like to inform you all that we will sadly be losing Lorraine from the Estcots After School Club. Lorraine has decided to take some time to concentrate on her upcoming knee surgery and we wish her all the best for a speedy recovery!

Lorraine currently job shares the role of Supervisor with Tegan and her last week with us will be next week. Tegan will continue as Supervisor of the Club and we will keep you updated with future staffing plans for the Club.

We are sure you will all join us in wishing Lorraine well for the future and she will be a missed member of the Team.

Today is definitely a fantastic Monday! We are very excited to share with you all the result of the recent Ofsted inspection at the Blackwell After School Club 🥳

The Club was inspected in January and we are very proud to reveal that we received the highest grading possible of "Met". A fantastic Club with a great staff team, supportive families and most importantly, a fantastic group of children that we look after.

⭐Staff Appreciation Post⭐

We just wanted to share with you all that Tegan has just completed her Level 3 qualification in Childcare. Tegan currently runs our Estcots After School Club & Holiday Club, and is one of the Pracititioners working within the Nursery, working with all age groups.

A fantastic achievement and one that we couldn't wait to share with you all!

Today marks the last day for Steve as she leaves us to start her very well deserved retirement 💕 Yesterday we gave Steve the perfect send off with her favourite things-cake and an afternoon style tea!! Steve, it’s been a joy to work with you and after 19 years-you will be truly missed by all of the children, the staff and our families ⭐

Steve, who works with us at the Nursery and also supports our After School, Breakfast & Holiday Clubs, will be retiring at the end of this year.
Steve has always welcomed new families to the Nursery and has been instrumental in supporting these families as they settle in and adjust to Nursery life. Most of you will be aware that Steve plays a vital role in comforting and supporting families as the voice at the other end of the phone and Steve's role within the company has always proved to be incredibly varied and without a doubt, invaluable.

After working at All Kids for the past 19 years, it is beyond question that Steve will be greatly missed by the children as well as the staff and we are sure you will join us in wishing her well as she enjoys a very well deserved retirement!
