Huge congratulations to East Bergholt High School on being awarded the Runners-Up prize at the Suffolk Regional Dora Love competition!
We are incredibly proud of our fantastic team of students from Years 7, 8, and 10, who joined forces to create an inspiring project. The team worked brilliantly under pressure, having only a very short amount of time to bring their ideas to life. Together, they explored how we can learn from past acts of discrimination to actively build a brighter, more inclusive future for everyone. Their teamwork and dedication truly shone through. Their outstanding efforts have earned them a well deserved spot in the Dora Love National Finals! The final event will be held at The Hold on Friday, 3rd July. Please join us in celebrating this wonderful achievement and wishing our team the absolute best of luck for the finals.

We had a fantastic time celebrating World Book Day today!

Students and staff alike fully embraced the spirit of the day with some incredible costumes, bringing their favourite literary characters to life across the school. From the Mr Men and Little Miss, to the Smurfs, Harry Potter, and Paddington Bear, it was wonderful to see such creativity, enthusiasm and a shared love of reading throughout the day.

A huge well done to everyone who took part and helped make the celebration so special!

A huge well done to our Prince’s Trust students!

They raised over £200 today by organising a brilliant Christmas Fair — complete with festive stalls, games, and a very popular “Sponge the Teacher” attraction!
