Happy 10th birthday to us 🎉🎂

What a fabulous week of celebrating we have had! We can’t quite believe it’s 10 whole years since we became Twinkle Twinkle Day Nursery, doesn’t time fly when you’re having fun.
Thank you again to our past, present and future parents for putting their trust in us, we really do put our all into our practice.

We even made the front page in the Easingwold Adverister, don’t forget to grab a copy.

📚 TWINKLE TWINKLE’S LENDING LIBRARY 📚

We have LOTS of books at nursery that we love to share throughout the day. Reading stories benefits all areas of children’s development including:
- Improving their language skills
- Enhancing imagination and creativity
- Supporting cognitive development
- Increasing concentration
- Creating bonds with staff and friendships between the children.

With our spare books we have decided to create a ’Lending Library’. The books are just outside the door at nursery, so please feel free to have a nosy and choose a book to share with your baby/child at home.

We also have our ‘Home Learning Bags’ on the shelves by the door, containing resources to use at home to further your little one’s development.

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

We have had some rather special visits to our nursery car park recently.
We started off with a tractor visit from Zac and his dad, and then his mum brought 'Toby the pony' to see us and we finished off last week with a visit from the fire engine arranged by the lovely Jenny.

These visits are invaluable and provide so many learning opportunities, enabling the children to get up close and hands on with such awe and wonder, which spark some natural curiosities from all the children, asking questions, learning about the world we live in.

A big thank you to Claire and Andrew and Jenny for making these visits happen.
