What does your child actually get inside Maths Momentum?

It's more than a library of videos.

Each topic has lessons where I teach the maths, followed by activities to practise and apply it.

So, for example, you might work through place value, then use a challenge activity to put that understanding into practice.

And you don't have to work through every single thing in order.

If your child is already confident with a topic, move on. If something isn't quite clicking, revisit it. If you need to pause for a while and come back later, that's fine too.

The aim is to give you the structure of a maths course with the flexibility of home education.

There are currently 36 lessons covering the core foundation maths topics, with 72 activities alongside them, plus 8 foundation videos for recapping prior learning.

There's also a new challenge activity and video each month, along with a bank of ideas for practising each topic in different ways (see the example for place value in the image). It's designed for children around 9–14.

It's £8.99 per month, and that gives your family access to the whole membership rather than paying separately for each topic.

What if maths had structure without feeling like school?

That's one of the things I wanted Maths Momentum to get right.

There's a clear progression through the maths, so you're not left wondering what your child should be learning next. But you don't have to follow it rigidly.

Already confident with something? Skip it.
Need more practice with something? Stay there for longer.
Want to come back to a topic later? You can.

The lessons are taught by me, with explanations, examples and activities designed to help children understand the maths rather than simply work their way through worksheet after worksheet.

And because it's online, your child can pause, replay and revisit things whenever they need to.
