This week we have been exploring all different modes of transportation ✈️🚗🚀🚎.

The preschoolers have enjoyed spending lots of time roleplaying in their train cafe, serving teas and coffees to their friends. 🚆☕️. They have also enjoyed learning about land, sea and air vehicles, discovering the different ways we travel and why. ✈️🚲⛴️

In our toddler room, we have had a great time with our car wash, scrubbing, tipping and pouring 💦 🫧 They have also enjoyed painting the tyres using a range of tools and mixing lots of wonderful colours 🌈 They then rolled the tyres along the floor to create tracks and patterns 🛞

Our baby room have been exploring getting messy with the diggers in mud, looking at the different tracks they make as well as scooping and pouring. We also loved riding the bikes through the paint 🎨, making a colourful picture while practicing our gross motor skills 🚲 We looked closely at vehicles such as ice cream vans and decided to make our own with play dough, turning our role play into a parlour! 🍦

This week we have been exploring and celebrating the great outdoors 🌳🌿💐. At tiddlywinks we value our outdoor space and the time we spend in it. Including our garden areas and forest school. 🪾🪵🍃.

This week our preschoolers have especially enjoyed spending lots of time in our forest school exploring all the different plants and animals that we see. They have loved making nature potions 🌾🌸🌼, practicing their fine motor skills to cut the plants and flowers independently. They also enjoyed exploring the different herbs that have been growing in forest school. 🌿🪴Alongside the forest school excitement the children have also shown an interest in learning and talking about the eclipse that we experienced this week. 🌖💫 They enjoyed sharing their stories about what they saw as well as painting the eclipse and making the moon and sun with play dough. 🌙🌕☀️.

This week our babies have enjoyed been the littlest explorers and exploring the great outdoors🍁🍃 They have enjoyed walking through the textures we find in the great outdoors and splashing in muddy puddles🦶 They have also enjoyed exploring the wildlife that lives in the many great outdoor habitats such as foxes, badgers and birds 🐦 They enjoyed exploring the different types of homes they live in and also exploring the textures. Finally our babies enjoyed been mini gardeners for the day digging down into the soil to make room for the seeds to grow🌸 We’ve had another fantastic week been the mini explorers🏕️

Our toddlers have enjoyed spending lots of time in their garden watching the birds and squirrels 🐿️ 🦅. They have also enjoyed making nature soup in the water tray with lots of natural resources 🍁🍂🍃🪶 and making farm animal footprints in sensory trays. 🐖🐑🐄.

We have all had so much fun exploring the great outdoors and look forward to exploring transportation next week. ✈️🚘🚀🚛

This week we have enjoyed exploring the great world around us 🌍🗺️

We have enjoyed exploring the earth and the different planets, looking at the colours, the sizes and the shapes. 🪐🌍 we used cloud dough to make a mould of the earth ourselves using are imagination. 🧑‍🎨🌍🌱🌳🪨

We have looked at the different countries, the different flags and animals we may see around the world, children enjoyed exploring and telling us the different countries they wanted to explore 🌍 🐬🌊🌳

In preschool we enjoyed exploring the world with our senses, smelling the different foods, touching the different textures we used to correct our world in a tray. The children have loved extending there knowledge of the world by asking lots of questions. 🌍

In babies we have enjoyed having the whole world in our hands🌍 we have used our different senses to explore different textures in our multicultural baskets and feel the texture of the salt dough as we created our hand prints and said high-five to a range of different countries🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇫🇷🇪🇸 We have also enjoyed creating our own beats as we all got involved in a session of African drumming🇿🇦 We’ve really enjoyed exploring the world around us🌍

In toddlers we have enjoyed exploring the world with our imaginations🌍, using different textures and colours to create different habitats. We used blue paint 🎨and shaving foam to represent the ocean splashing around with our sealife creatures. We have also enjoyed matching different flags to their colours🇬🇧🇫🇷🇯🇵

Let’s explore under the sea 🌊 🐬🐠🐟

The children have really enjoyed exploring the under the sea animals, and pretending to be under the sea investigators this week. we enjoyed comparing them to land animals and looking at the different body parts we have and why we have different parts and what we use them for. The children were most interested in the animals that have fins🐬🐅🦖

We have explored many different textures from sand and water to shaving foam and gloop🐠🐢
The children have been using their senses to explore and enhance their learning whilst exploring the activities 👋👃 Whilst enjoying different textures and exploring the bottom of the deep blue sea🌊 we have also enjoyed creating our own under the sea pictures as we got creative in our art studio🎨

We have enjoyed getting messy in the gloop, splashing in the water 💦 getting creative and using our imagination to create scenes and amazing art work 🖼️

We have enjoyed roleplaying in our very own scuba cafe serving fish and chips to all our friends 🐟🍟

This week we have enjoyed exploring the safari, who doesn’t love all the animals 🌳 🦁🐘🐆🦓

In pre school we have explored all different safari animals, looking at all the different sizes, shapes and colours. The children enjoyed playing eye spy when comparing the animals. 👀🐊🦏🐅 we have washed the animals in the warm soapy water to make them all clean exploring the textures of the animals and talking about how each animal has a different feel too them! We also enjoyed looking at the different body parts of the animals and talking about why not all animals have 4 legs🏜️

This week in babies we have explored the habitats the safari animals live in through a range of different textures, such as the Savannah Desert🏜️
We have also shown a interest in the Lion in which we extended the children’s interest and created our own Lion King musical🦁 we did dancing, singing and lots of roaring as we explored the circle of life🦁 We also enjoyed getting messy in our berry splash as we created yummy food to feed the animals in our very own safari park🐯🫐

Across the nursery, We have also explored small world safari scenes, acting out our own stories and creating scenes, we have read books about Safari animals, matching animals too the books 📚 🎬🏜️

We got creative and made our own animal masks, using different resources and tools to create the animals we liked the most, during doing these activties we enjoyed using our imagination 🙊🐍

We have enjoyed singing down in the jungle and sleeping bunnies, being all the different Safari animals and burning off energy 🦁🦘🐊

This week we have enjoyed exploring Tour de France in many different ways. 🇫🇷🚴

The Tour de France for preschoolers is a simplified definition of the world's most famous bicycle race 🚴🚴‍♀️Tailored for young children, it is described as a fun, weeks-long "big bike race" in France where cyclists ride hundreds of miles to earn a special yellow shirt. 💛🎽

We have explored this through sensory trays with shaving foam using the colours of the flag, we have Washed the bikes and cars having a good splash and getting wet at the car wash 🧼 💦🚘🚴

We have also enjoyed supporting our teams in the World Cup, the children have enjoyed playing football pretending to be the different teams 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🇲🇽🇪🇸. We have enjoyed listening to and singing the England songs, exploring the different flags and colours.

We also touched on Wimbledon 🎾🏓 the children enjoyed setting up a small world tray to make our small world people play tennis. The children used there fine motor skills to hold the tennis rackets and the people to make the preform the game. The child knew how to do the match as we watch clips of how the game works. We also made Eton mess using strawberries 🍓 we explained the connection to Wimbledon.

This week we have been looking at all different animals and where they live. 🐝🦆🐟

We have enjoyed a range of different sensory activities including building bug hotels 🐞🐛🪲and making food for the farm animals to eat 🐷🐄. We have embraced the hot weather by playing with lots of different sea creatures in our water trays and even the paddling pools. 🌊🐟🐬.

The preschoolers have especially enjoyed looking at our globe and finding where all the animals live 🌍. They have especially enjoyed looking at the animals in the desert 🐪.

As always we have all been keeping a look out for the animals we see in our garden including the birds and squirrels that the children love. 🐿️🪶🦆

This week we celebrated our school leavers with their preschool graduation ceremony 🎓We have watched them learn, grow and develop over their time with us and now it is nearly time for them to start their new and exciting chapters. 🧑‍🎓📚

Our preschool have showed a real excitement in the World Cup especially supporting the England team 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 so it was only right for their graduation to be football themed. They enjoyed a range of football activities alongside their families and loved ones. We designed our own footballs ⚽️, played matching games with the players and showed off their skills in many games of football 🥅⚽️🏟️.

We look forward to spending the last few months with you before your new journeys begin and wish you all the best of luck 🌟📚🎓.

This week we have been celebrating summer alongside the World Cup starting ⚽️🥅.

The babies have enjoyed using their senses to explore a range of different sensory trays. They used their feet to explore a beach scene, splashing in the water 💦 and feeling the sandy textures. They have also been working on their gross motor skills as they all got involved in baby football scoring lots of goals in the England net🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🥅

The preschoolers have shown a great interest and enthusiasm for the World Cup, especially supporting the England team ⚽️🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿. They have enjoying playing their own games of football and looking at different ways of making the England flag 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿.

The toddlers have enjoyed looking at how their surroundings are changing alongside the weather and seasons. They have been looking at how the trees have changed 🌳🌸🌻 and all the wildlife we see in our garden 🪶🐥🐣.
