Today, one of our parents brought in some Honey for the children to try. The children were very independent at snack time and used their knives to spread this across their tea cakes. The children loved the honey.

We had a very exciting parcel delivered to Nursery on Monday. Back in Feb, Danielle supported the children to write their own poems. We sent these off to Young Writers and they have been accepted to be published in a book. We are so very excited for this to happen as it is a massive achievement for our children who we are very proud of!

What a funfilled morning we have had at The Essex. Today we had a very important visitor attend Nursery. We are very lucky that one of our parents come and had a chat with our preschoolers to explain their job role and how they help us within the community. The children were also very lucky to have tried on the uniform and we had an unmarked car outside the nursery where the children were able to see the flashing lights, hear the sirens and take a look inside. The children and staff had the best time! We would like to say a massive thank you to our parent for giving the children the opportunity to find out all about Police Officers.
